Holy Sh*t!! First post from the new place…. Hey all, I haven’t blogged in a while. I’m actually moved now. Still have a few little things at my old apartment but all the important things are moved. Trying to enjoy my weekend off. I took off work on Friday & because of Memorial Day I have off on Monday. Not a lot has been happening lately. Brandi finally got up here with me on Friday & she is already talking about making the drive back down to stay a night back in crappy central kY. Something about being homesick. She thinks I don’t understand anything about her missing her family but really I do. I just hope she gets over this so we can just be happy here together. I guess it was the whole fact that right after graduation in ‘03 I was ready to move far away, ready to stay away from that little place called Lincoln County, but the main reason she moved to Louisville was to be with me. To make a long story short I hope she gets over all this. |

Grinding of the Gears “Fat Tall” people shouldn’t attend concerts….no offense to the fat giraffes out there but the truth has to be told. This dude was beside me and Brandi up front at the Thursday show….we were scrunched together. To make a long story short his armpits ended up sweating through his shirt onto her jacket that she had on. It was freaking sick. The worse thing about it is you could tell he wasn’t having that great of a time. So word to the wise to all those “Big Giraffes” out there that sweat excessively….stay home!! |

Accomplished Agendas Brandi came up this weekend. We had a pretty full weekend….now I’m tired. I have to go back to work tomorrow. We went to the zoo on Saturday. I’ll have some pics up soon from that little experience. It would have been nice if the Gorillas weren’t just chillin’ like villians. I would have liked to seen them out playing around. We finally got an apartment. We couldn’t get the original one we wanted because of some technical difficulties so we ended up saying f*ck it. We are waiting to hear back from this new place. They told us they would call us on Wednesday so that’s good. |

Thursday!! The Thursday show was last night. It was the best. It had been over 2 years since I had seen them….they’re such a great live band. The bands opening for them were We’re all Broken, meWithoutYou, and Minus the Bear. I wanted to see Minus the Bear. meWithoutYou ended up rocking out, but We’re all Broken = bleh! Events Upon Me…. Hey world! Since the last time I wrote I’ve been getting caught up on Lost & Prison Break. Also started watching The Office(the british version)….I’m hooked, it’s freaking hilarious. You know I love watching things via downloads, without commercials but after you get backed up with so much stuff, you have to just take a couple of days and get all caught up. Thursday in 4 days!! It’s going to be so great. The time is approaching….the time for me & Brandi to move in & be together. I’ve been on my own for 3 years now. The first year & a 1/2 I had a roommate & the past year & a 1/2 I’ve been by myself. I love being by myself, but quite honestly I’m ready for Brandi to move in. For now, I have to go. I’m in the process of getting my school work finished for the day so I will write a little later. |

Haven’t had my Gears Grinded in a while…. I hate it when old people think they’ve experienced everything in life & think they know it all. All do respect, age is supposed to make you wise, but some people are so full of themselves that it makes them ignorant without any realization at all. |
Next Monday, E3 Week, & More
Next Monday I finally get to see Thursday again!! I can’t wait. Still a little disappointed that it’s at Jillian’s & not Headliner’s, but it still should be a great show.
In other news, I’m glad the KY derby has come & gone this year. I’ve been here for 3 years in Louisville & this is the first year where the traffic just annoyed the h*ll out of me.
Can’t wait for E3 this week. For those of you not in the know E3=Electronic Entertainment Expo. It’s shaping up to look like the PS3 is going to be a huge disappointment, but I’m a little more interested in some of the next-gen games coming out & the Wii. I guess we shall see.

The Month….Has started. Yesterday I got my stock deposit so that’s happiness all over the place. Today Tool & Thursday’s albums finally were released. After work I had to jet over to Ear-X-tacy to pick them up. I knew Tool would have some type of crazy artwork & they didn’t disappoint….at least not with me. Definitely well worth the buy. I ended up buying 2 copies (one to keep in the packaging & one to enjoy). As for Thursday , they’ve been streaming their album all over the web for about a week or so. The countdown is on to see them in concert again. Just under 2 weeks. I sort of wish it wasn’t at Jillians though. The last time they rolled through it was at Headliner’s(much better place)……but we will see. Just a quick post. Word! |

Sadly have to say…. No Tool Concert in Chicago. I was online this past Saturday as soon as they went on sale….I got screwed by ticketmaster. Hit the refresh button, watched them go on sale, went searching for tickets, only to have them tell me “no tickets could be found”….not even a minute after going on sale. I was really looking forward to traveling to Chicago |
. I got on Ebay a day or two after because I just knew someone would be trying to rip people off. They had tickets on there for the Chicago show for $400. What’s that? A few shows that are set in PA and MN people had them going for as much as $1,000 per ticket.April 24, 2006 – Monday

Thunder Weekend 2006 It was a pretty good weekend. Me & Brandi went to eat at Olive Garden on Friday night….yum yum….best place ever. Last year at Thunder it was so cold that not that many people turned out. Well this year it was a completely different story. It ended up being 70 degrees or so & everyone was out. They’re saying it was a record turnout of around 800,000 people & man I believe it! After we got parked, we got some lunch at Hard Rock Cafe & hung out at 4th Street for a while. We went down to the Waterfront, watched the airshow and waited for the fireworks(got some pics of the fireworks posted). We had an excellent view this year. We seen some dude get arrested, a fight, and some guy on a motorcycle get into with a cop….it was GRRR!! (Whatcha gonna do when they come for you….Bad boys….Bad boys) Just wanted to write some things down. I just got off of work 1 hour ago….bleh on Mondays. |

Just a quick note: TOOL’s new album It’s amazing!! It was definitely worth the 5 years wait. They always make us fans wait but it’s always worth it no matter what. I can’t wait till it actually comes out so that I can buy it. I want the artwork. Those of you that like Tool, if you remember Lateralis, the artwork was by far the best booklet that I had ever seen. More later…. |

Not long after my last blog…… I just blogged a few hours ago about Tool and such. Well the inevitable has happened. Their new album got leaked!! It’s a bit sad seeing as to how those guys try to keep it under such wraps. Of course I couldn’t resist, I had to get it, but I’ll still be buying it come May 2nd. When I started downloading it there were only about 800 or so people that had it. That number is growing quickly because damn near 3,000 people have it now. One final note….I hope all the people that actually download it will still take the time and actually buy it, because any true Tool fan knows that it’s worth it. |
Crazy Happenings in Occurence: TOOL/Thursday
Well when I got home on Sunday Tool’s new single got leaked to the net like day early so that was outstanding. This new album coming up on May 2nd is going to be great….as always….expect no less from Tool. 
I get home yesterday and Thursday had posted the video to their new song so I just had to watch it immediately. Thursday ended up streaming their album on myspace today so I just finished listening and it’s another one to look forward to on May 2nd. 
Of Course the Thursday show is coming up in May, but I just found out that Tool is going to be playing in Chicago so I almost have to go. I could wait for them to come to Louisville but that’s going to be like 6 months to a year from now. I just don’t want to wait that long.

What a day!! Went to work as usual. It was a Tuesday but Tuesdays are always really short. I felt like shit from like the time I woke up this morning around 5 till about 11. It was complete hell….I don’t know what the hell was wrong. Anyway, After work I had to meet Brandi up here to show her how to get to JCC(her college). She’s still not to familiar with the city so I of course went along for the ride. I kind of liked being downtown even if it was only to walk around a college campus. I hadn’t been down there in a while except to go to the park, but that’s not really downtown, that’s just the waterfront. After that though we went to Penn Station….I had been craving some freaking Penn Station for like the past month….so finally |

BBQ , New Tool single leaked & More Over the weekend I went with my girl to a BBQ. Her family was doing some little Easter ordeal….but I got to eat….Chicken and Hamburgers When I got home today I found out that Tool’s new single got leaked to the net over the weekend. It was a major surprise. I’m sure Tool will be p-iss-d off when they find out. They may not be that mad though seeing as to how the single is supposed to be released to the radio tomorrow. So if you know where to find it, go listen now!! Only 2 weeks from this Tuesday left until…..New Thursday album,New Tool album, and stock deposit. I can’t wait. I’m just ready for April to be over. I guess I’m out for now….I’ve been trying to finish 24:season 4 so that I can start on season 5. |

Tired…. Hello all, not a lot has been going on as of late. As I blogged a few blogs ago, April isn’t a very eventful month for me….so I’m left bored waiting for May to come along. The main reason for this blog is because I took a little too long of a nap earlier tonight & now I can’t go back to sleep. I love it when I do that because I can get up & enjoy the night….(oooo….how I miss the late night tip). It sucks though because when you have to work at 6 in the morning the next day….it freaking blows. Anyways, I’m so tired of routine right now….I go to work, come home, check stocks, do school work…..Monday through Friday. I got my shit in line at least….It’s just I need something to spice things up….maybe I can learn to salsa dance sometime soon, I’ve been wanting to do that for a while. |

The Weekend!! I went to see my lovely this weekend. We went out to eat on Friday night. While being out I seen some people that I went to high school with. Samurai Deeper Kyo I haven’t blogged anything in a few weeks because nothing has been going on really. I wanted to record a few things though. Just started watching a new anime series called Samurai Deeper Kyo. I stopped after the 1st disc because I wanted to wait till this weekend so my girl can start watching it with me. If you like any anime you should really check it out. Oh yeah, my effin xbox….well one of them. I have one that I play on xbox live with, and the other I was modding last weekend. Ha! Just my luck, when I almost had the modchip installed……5-4-3-2-1 xbox power down….xbox won’t power back on….so it’s basically focked. So needless to say a little bit more of my time has been devoted to browsing Ebay this week. That’s all for now, Have fun on the other side of life! |

Everything’s just Froggy….Whatever that means….
Not a lt has happened as of late. I do have tickets to see Thursday in May. They are finally coming back here to Louisville….I can’t WAIT!! Not a lot has happened at the beginning of this year. Still working, still getting school work complete, still playing the stock market game. I’m still trying to make this my blog instead of my blog that I had started at blogger. EMANUEL Just writing in here really quick to document how I seen Emanuel in concert on December 30th. Me & my loved one Brandi went to the show. It was a kick ass show. Emanuel is one of the few bands that have actually made it out of Louisville. They’re great. If you haven’t heard them then you should definitely check them out. |
